Gratitude, Challenges and Changes – 2020

Gratitude, Challenges and Changes

To our riders, sponsors, volunteers and supporters, the Rotary Club of Reno Sunrise would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for nine years of community involvement producing the Edible Pedal 100®.  From the beginning we’ve been in awe at the generosity of our fellow Northern Nevadans.  This event has brought together civic groups, academic organizations, private companies and individual volunteers committed to showcasing the beauty and altruism that is Nevada! Together we have encouraged healthy lifestyle choices and put more than $300,000.00 back into the community.

The Edible Pedal 100® has always taken place in September to celebrate the change of seasons.  Summer moves to fall.  The leaves change in a beautiful show of color to signal the end of a season and the start of new winter.  As with seasons, Northern Nevada has and is going through changes.  As with all changes, we have new opportunities, but there are also challenges.  Because of these challenges, we have decided to take a break in 2020. Unfortunately, there will not be a 2020 Edible Pedal 100® event. Time is needed to assess the road ahead.

We are extremely grateful for your support.
Happy trails and tailwinds!
